Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in the treatment of or as indicated in the package leaflet. Each 20mg tablet contains the active ingredient esomeprazole magnesium stearose. This medicine is available with a 28-day supply but may be repeated after the year-round cheap 20mg tablets ().
Nexium Control Tablets 20mg have a good safety profile. The tablets usually have a clear, colour-changing and fruity odour (5% or above). However, they can be taken with or without food.
In hospital or abroad, the tablets may cause diarrhoea, stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, weight loss and/or vomiting with or without food. If you experience any of these symptoms, contact your doctor immediately.
In adults and children over 12 years, the tablets have been studied in children and adolescents. The tablets are also used for the treatment of impotence. The tablets should be taken in the following forms:
The tablet forms should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
Esomeprazole is an acid-retarding agent and should be taken in the following doses:
Esomeprazole should not be taken for more than 5 consecutive days.

Do not use if you have or have had stomach ulcers or other gastric or duodenal problems, including: Heart attack, stroke, heart failure, heart attack, or fast or irregular heartbeat for which bariumainting is recommended, heart disease, heart rhythm disorders (including heart failure, dysmenorrhagia, and symptomatic hypertension), liver or kidney problems, or severe stomach pain
Use this product with caution in elderly patients, because some patients may not be suitable for this medicine (see section 4.3).
See section 4.4 for more details. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Use this product with caution in patients with a strong or irregular heartbeat, with a history of heart attack or stroke, or with severe stomach pain. If your heartbeat is not due or likely to return within 48 hours, or if you have heart failure, you may need emergency medical treatment, or you may have a serious heart condition. Ask your pharmacist or doctor about this product before use if your heartbeat remains unchanged.
Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any other medicines, foods, dyes, preservatives, or dyes.
Some products may slow the absorption of this product or cause gastrointestinal upset (see section 4.3). Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking medicines called anticoagulants (blood thinners), or medicines used to treat high blood pressure, or swelling of the legs (e.g., cold-water tablets, sprays, baths).
Stop using this product and get emergency medical help if you have heartburn, burning, itching, irritation, sensitivity, or other symptoms of acid-related pain (e.g., acid indigestion), or burning of the stomach or intestines (e.g., indigestion), or if you develop any symptoms of peeling of the skin (e.g., redness, irritation). Stop using this product and see your doctor immediately if you develop these or more serious skin or digestive problems.
In children under the age of 12, this product may not be suitable if the child is allergic to Nexium 24HR, or any of the ingredients listed at the end of this leaflet. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking any of the other ingredients listed at the end of this leaflet. Other ingredients that may interact with this product may also interact with it.
Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel well while you are using this product.
This product may cause a severe allergic reaction if the patient is also taking:
If you are taking any of the other ingredients listed at the end of this leaflet, your doctor may decide to avoid using this product.
Some of the symptoms of an allergic reaction may include shortness of breath, wheezing or difficulty breathing; swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat or other parts of the body; or rash, itching or hives on the skin.
This product may cause a severe skin reaction if the patient is also taking:
If you are using the product to treat an infection, it may take up to 6 weeks to feel better, or worse, after you finish taking the course. If your symptoms last longer than 6 weeks, or if they become worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
