AstraZeneca's biggest pharmaceutical company has agreed to pay $1 billion for selling its drugs to New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with the proceeds benefiting the firm's shareholders.

The agreement, announced Monday, comes as the world's largest pharmaceutical company has faced one of the largest price spikes in more than a century.

Nexium, the blockbuster heartburn drug used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, had a $1 billion price increase in the third quarter compared with the same period in 2011.

AstraZeneca will be required to pay $1.7 billion to settle the lawsuit over the drug's price increase. The settlement will allow AstraZeneca to bring in the $1 billion in cash it has agreed to pay to the firm for its share of the proceeds from the agreement.

AstraZeneca will pay a $4 billion settlement, the largest in its history, to help pay for the settlement and the $1.7 billion in cash it will receive from the firm in exchange for paying the firm a share of the proceeds from the settlement.

The settlement will also help pay for the $1.5 billion in cash that AstraZeneca will receive from the settlement. The settlement will cover the full cost of the drug, including future sales. The settlement will also provide AstraZeneca with a share of the $3 billion in cash that the firm will receive from the settlement and will help cover the $4 billion in future sales.

AstraZeneca is one of the largest drugmakers in the world, with more than 100,000 employees in more than 10 countries. It is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. It is the largest pharmaceutical company in the world and has more than 5,000 employees in more than 100 countries.

It will not be the first time that AstraZeneca has agreed to pay for sales and marketing of its drugs.

In 2007, AstraZeneca agreed to pay $1.2 billion to resolve the issue of a $4 billion settlement with the drug maker, the New Jersey company.

This settlement is in response to the drug maker's recent decision to raise its price to $2.5 billion.

In April, AstraZeneca agreed to pay $3.4 billion to settle a $2.5 billion lawsuit that alleged the company failed to disclose the value of its drugs. That case is still pending.

AstraZeneca will pay a $4 billion settlement to New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It will also pay $4 billion to settle a $3 billion lawsuit that claimed the company improperly sold its drugs to the state.

AstraZeneca will not be the first drugmaker to agree to pay for its drug sales. AstraZeneca's first-line care for its heartburn and asthma patients is AstraZeneca's first-line care for patients with other chronic illnesses.

The New York-based company has been in the spotlight in recent years due to the huge price increase for its drugs. The company will pay a $4 billion settlement to settle the lawsuit, which claims that AstraZeneca failed to disclose its drug price increase.

The New York lawsuit, filed in federal court last month, alleges that AstraZeneca failed to adequately disclose the price of its heartburn and asthma drugs. The suit claims that AstraZeneca failed to report the high-dose therapy for asthma from AstraZeneca's sales and marketing of the drugs.

In a statement to Reuters, AstraZeneca said: "We are pleased that AstraZeneca has agreed to pay the full cost of our drugs, including sales and marketing of our new drugs, through our agreement with the New Jersey and Pennsylvania firm."

AstraZeneca's statement also stated: "In addition to the $1 billion settlement, we will pay the full cost of our existing patents for a number of generic drugs, including Nexium, which is a brand-name product used to treat the symptoms of GERD, a common heartburn."

In the New York lawsuit, the company agreed to pay $1 billion to settle a $4 billion lawsuit over the drug's price increase.

AstraZeneca will pay $4 billion to New Jersey and Pennsylvania for its drug, AstraZeneca has said.

The settlement will also help pay for the $1.5 billion in cash that AstraZeneca will receive from the settlement and will help cover the $4 billion in future sales.

The New York-based drugmaker will pay a $4 billion settlement to New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which has a $1.
